BuzzWorks Opens In SOMA’s 11th St Entertainment Corridor!
San Francisco has many reasons to celebrate the highly anticipated opening of BuzzWorks. Craft Beer enthusiasts will relish the 150+ beer selection including 40 dynamic taps of local and regional micro brews. Sports fans will love the 21 TV’s throughout the venue as well as the Mammoth Video Wall centerpiece over the main bar. BuzzWorks offers a split level Beercade of 6 highly sought out pinball games, a 600+ multigame-videocade, two pool tables and the highly acclaimed World Tour Soccer Foosball Table: one of only a few on the west coast!
BuzzWorks has been in the making for over two years. It’s jam-packed with up-cycled custom construction and fabrication throughout. It’s Industrial/Steam-Punk esthetic complements the building's historical essence as a reflection of its modern day use. Originally, this heavy duty industrial Bethlehem Steel frame building was built at the turn of the century on 6th street. In 1950, it was moved onto 11th street when all of Western Soma was a train yard. Throughout the 1900’s, the building was primarily used for heavy fabrication and forging. In the past few decades, it’s been a custom welding shop, motorcycle repair, magazine printing, construction storage, carpentry shop & pop-up thrift store. Today, and for a long foreseeable future, 365 11th St will serve as SF’s preeminent sports bar & craft beer utopia 365 days a year!
BuzzWorks offers a friendly, inviting and exciting atmosphere that can be enjoyed equally by all. It is perfect for big social groups, special occasions outings, and a casual date night. There is a lot to see and enjoy, and the attention to detail in its fabrication truly overwhelms the senses. There is plenty of seating, and the high ceilings with clear spanning views of the entire floorplan give it an open airy feel that’s very comfortable and immersive, yet surprisingly intimate. We also offer a free-to-join Loyalty Program to all our customers which offers them a variety of perks and exclusive opportunities. There is always free Wi-Fi, and we put the “Happy” back into Happy Hour!
BuzzWorks is open daily, but the schedule is versatile for the time being. In the coming months BuzzWorks will be introducing an in-house programming, which will feature viewing parties for exclusive broadcast sports events, Craft Beer tap-takeovers by local and regional micro breweries, Draft-Beer Fantasy league, C educational seminars by our beer expert and guest brewers, a wide variety of sports based entertainment, sports celebrity autograph signings, and much more to be announced. About the Company
Founder, Visionary & President: Vladimir R. Cood has been in the SF Entertainment Industry for nearly three decades producing groundbreaking special events, multicultural music dance festivals, and is responsible for venues such as Home Base, Whisper Ultra Lounge & Butter to name a few. Vlad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will make BuzzWorks just as infamous as all his prior ventures that are still revered as fundamental cornerstones of Bay Area entertainment evolution. He conceived, designed and fabricated the entire place by hand over the past two years.
Craft Beer and Food Director: Lyle Ale-Xander Farrell aka Beerstein is Craft Beer in the flesh. Lyle has a plethora of experience working at different breweries across the globe, operates the largest craft beer fan page on FaceBook, and spends his free time brewing his own beer. His vast knowledge of the craft beer industry and its movers and shakers is reflected by the draft selection at BuzzWorks: constantly dynamic, exciting and always fresh. As BuzzWorks grows, he will brew our own recipes to serve with pride.
